Aquarium of the Americas and Entergy Giant Screen Theater
Combined in this riverfront complex is one of the nation’s top five aquariums together with the Entergy Theater featuring a five-and-a-half-story screen. Visitors will see one of the largest collections of sharks and jellyfish in the United States and rare Louisiana native white alligators at the Audubon Aquarium of the Americas. After exploring the Aquarium, children of all ages can escape into 2D and 3D adventures at the theater.  

Audubon Insectarium
The Audubon Insectarium is the largest museum in the United States devoted to the 900,000+ species of insects. Located just blocks from the hotel at the old U.S. Customs House, the Insectarium is a great way to spend the day.

Audubon Zoo
This internationally acclaimed Audubon Zoo is located in Audubon Park at the Mississippi River. The zoo features the award-winning Louisiana Swamp Exhibit as well as other habitats that include: Gorilla Troop, World of Primates, African Savanna, Audubon Aviary, Jaguar Jungle, Bambu Village, Monkey Hill, Reptile Encounter and Lion Exhibit.  

Louisiana Children’s Museum
The Louisiana Children’s Museum, where learning is fun, is located a few blocks from the hotel in the Arts District. Children can conduct experiments in a lab, learn the flow of water in Water Works, and play with bubbles in the Bubble Exhibit.
